The Karecore for Kids Foundation

Our products were inspired by love, created for love, to spread the love. Helping families in need and giving back to our community is the driving force behind why we do what we do!  That is why, along with other generous supporters, and fundraising campaigns, A portion of every product and service sold through our advertisers or affiliates on all of our websites goes directly to create and support our non profit Karecore for Kids Foundation, whose first mission is to build The Karecore Retreat and Respite Center featuring Camp Kindness for Courageous Kids.

The Karecore for Kids Foundation is a new and upcoming 501 (c) 3 non profit organization originating in spring 2012.  We would like to break ground on this project as soon as possible in the South Eastern Pennsylvania area.  We would ideally like to be within an hour's drive of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; but we are open to whatever opportunities for acquiring the right property for our center are presented. If you are a land owner in this area and looking to do good and make a difference, and would like to be a part of this wonderful project by donating some acreage we would be greatly appreciative. As a volunteer for another terrific childrens charity, our founder saw the great need for this respite home and camp.  We are compelled to bring smiles, comfort, and joy to these brave deserving families.  We envision a magnificent, magical facility where seriously ill and special needs children get to be foot loose and fancy free.  Living life to the fullest while enjoying a week full of fun, friendship, and exciting activities and adventures with others who are living with the same challenges as they are. It will be a pampering place where weary parents can attend workshops, relax, renew, and reconnect with each other, and recover the strength they need to be strong for their families.  It will be a warm, inspiring, safe sanctuary where love and laughter prevail, and the struggles of illness and the everyday stress of constant care are temporarily eased, and families make wonderful friends, life long memories, and create strong support systems.

The families we will serve are facing a multitude of challenges and needs.  There will be different themed weeks and workshops according to the needs of our families.  Families with children suffering similar conditions will attend at the same time.  There will be different weeks dedicated for specific cancers, brain ailments, blood disorders, heart conditions, Down Syndrome, special needs, and more. 

It will be a loving, creative, nurturing environment where families can connect and God’s healing love can be felt; where health, healing, hope and happiness happen everyday!  However, we cannot do this alone.  We need others to help!  When people use our products or make a donation of any kind they can rejoice in knowing that they are contributing to making happiness, healing, and hope happen for those who need it most.
